Well, ok, technically not all the tubes are gone. But most all of them.
Ella's IV came out, and the docs decided not to replace it. So she is getting nothing but breast milk, now, and doing very well. She's up to 32 cc's per feeding, a tad more than an ounce.
Her temperature monitor is gone, now, too. She's monitoring her own temperature, an important step before she can be moved out of the isolette into an open crib.
You can see how much more relaxed she looks now!
Unfortunately, we didn't get to see her very long today. The doctor needed to do something with another baby, so all the parents had to leave. It's so hard to leave her there, even knowing she's getting good care. I just want her home. Hopefully just another week or two, and she will be.
